Upper Travel was a great choice for our family vacation in Greece. We had several different travel needs throughout our trip, and Sofia and her team handled everything seamlessly, including accommodating last-minute changes.We did a full-day tour of Athens with George as our driver and Myrto as our guide, and they were both fantastic. Traveling with kids ages 16 and 5 can be a challenge, but Myrto kept both of them engaged throughout the entire day, which says a lot.George and Nick also took great care of us with transportation between Athens, the marina, and the airport. Everyone was warm, professional, reliable, and incredibly accommodating.We can’t say enough good things about Sofia and the entire Upper Travel team. They made the logistics of our trip completely effortless, and we would absolutely use them again.

Wow. What a tour experience of the Acropolis/Athens. Chara was absolutely incredible! she was thoughtful, educational, and an incredible story teller. As an archaeologist, Chara was able to add another layer of insight that most tour guides wouldn't. Chara made our day in Athens one we will never forget. The tour bus driving around Athens also was a nice added touch. She is amazing and I highly recommend. The best!!!

My sister and I had a magical time in Greece, I was so impressed with Upper travel, they were flexible (we did four days of touring with them and four days on our own, and managed hotel/flight/ferry bookings ourselves, without any concerns although I’m sure they would have handled that masterfully) friendly and managed all of the details. Or driver Nikos was a particular stand out. We are already thinking about our next trip to Greece and would use them in a heartbeat.

We had an incredible 2 day experience with Upper Travel. We went on the full day Mycenae experience and then the half day Athens highlights tour, both with Chara as the guide and George as our driver. They were so lovely. Chara is super knowledgeable and gave us a really in depth understanding of the history of all of the places we visited. The tour itself (driving, stops, meeting up etc) went smoothly. We had a lot of things to see but it never felt rushed and we didn’t have to wait too much on lines.

We had a great experience working with Upper Travel to plan a day trip to Sounion and Lake Vouliagmeni for our two families with 5 kids. When we found Lake Vouliagmeni was closed the day we planned to visit, Sofia worked with us to create an alternative plan that worked so well (Aquapolis Water Park!!) for our kids. Our van and driver were terrific, and communication was great throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend if you are looking to plan a day trip around the Athens area.

We enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Delphi from Athens organized by Upper Travel. They (Sophia) were very helpful in advance of our trip, outlining the details and attending to small details like an infant car seat. On the trip itself Nikos was marvellous, totally on time, a strictly safe driver and keeping in touch by text. He chose a great restaurant with a magnificent view for our lunch. We had such a wonderful experience with Upper Travel. Sophia was fabulous. We started in Athens and went to Meteora with our driver George he was great”. They arranged everything the guide and then the accommodations. The following day off to Lefkada to meet a catamaran. At then of our sea journey Sophia had arranged a driver to bring us back to Athens to catch our flight. Her driver was on time and fabulous. Would recommend this company. I would use them again!!!

We had a superb experience with Upper Travel. We used their services for airport transfer and two separate tours: the full day Athens tour and the Temple of Poseidon. George was our driver and Myrto was our guide. Both were phenomenal. George was incredibly helpful, on time, and made sure we were always comfortable in our van. Myrto was a wealth of knowledge and she seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing her expertise with us - even when my 16 year old peppered her with lots of questions. My mother and husband are disabled and Myrto and George adjusted so they were both able to fully experience the tours. We highly recommend Upper Travel - you will not be disappointed. We were treated like family!

Excellent driver, George took us on city tour & to/from Acropolis. Felt very comfortable & relaxed. Vehicle was larger enough to seat 14 (3 generations) of us comfortably. Vehicle was clean & all Accessories functioned.Mykos, our tour guide spoke excellent English, was very well informed about all things Acropolis & Athens. She was very patient with the oldest ≈ 80 yr old right down to our youngest 10 yr old & every age in between.

Upper Travel is the best in Athens for airport transfers and private tours. Sofia was very responsive to my email inquiries during the planning phase and checked in days before our departure to confirm all the details. Nikos and George were our drivers, and they were very professional and courteous. They were flexible with our children’s needs and answered all our questions about life in Athens. My wife thought Nikos glided over every pothole and bump in the road. Nikos was able to make three restaurant recommendations and even helped us make the reservations with great tables. He actually did a better job than the hotel concierge in my opinion. We had Chara in Athens and Electra in Delphi as our two tour guides. They were both experts in their field and had an answer to every question from the adults and children in our group. They were very patient with our boys too. Chara gave us a lunch recommendation and helped us reserve a table and it really set a high bar for our meals in Athens. Dionysus brought us from our hotel to the airport and I’m so glad he recommended that we leave thirty minutes earlier because we would’ve been stressed at the airport if we kept to the original plan. Overall, they all dressed very professionally in suits and ties and always had a friendly smile. Their attention to details and flexibility made our time with Upper Travel exploring Athens and Delphi a memorable adventure. Thank you!!!

We arrived in Athens for the first time, and had three days in the city before/after a Greek Isles cruise. What would have been overwhelming and confusing on our own, Upper Travels made simple, seamless and completely satisfactory. A Sensational Experience!Upper Travel is an exceptional team of professionals providing elite tour experiences in Greece. We elected to have a 4 hour tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. As an architect, my desire was to have a very competent private tour of the site with as little crowding as possible (not easy at the Acropolis) and more personal than a group. My wife and I met our guide, Chara, just below the Acropolis entry for our 8am tour. Chara is an Archeologist with a tremendous amount of knowledge of not only the Acropolis, but also architecture, history, and ancient artifacts. The tour exceeded our expectations and was everything we could have hoped for during our visit. I cannot thank Upper Travel, and especially my main contact Sofia, enough for arranging this magnificent experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Chara and will be forever thankful of the knowledge we gained that day. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to maximize their experience. Very well done!!Separately, after our tour, I asked Sofia if she could provide us with transportation to Athens Airport. It was quickly arranged and an absolutely perfect way to end our trip to Greece. Our driver, George, was awesome! He was punctual, pleasant and just a great guy! My wife and I just got done with our first part of our trip in Athens. Sofia and her team were fabulous to work with. We traveled from California and at first was a bit skeptical about making our arrangement from half way around the world. But Sohphia always contacted us to keep us updated and answered all our questions. Nikolas was at the airport ready to pick us up and take us to our hotel in Central Athens. We then spent the next 3 days 1. Going around the city with our tour guide. She was fabulous at taking us up the acropolis while educating us along the way. Learned much more than I expected. Day 2 we went to olive farm and had a cooking class. Very fun. Day 3 we had a walking food tour around Athens which again was very enjoyable. My wife and I both agree that everything was great. I am also thankful that they were able to also meet my needs as I suffered a stroke 2 years ago and need a cane to walk. The car service was very helpful. All in Mercedes cars which were newer, clean and well maintained. George was our driver for most of the days and was great at meeting our needs and helpful when we asked. So in the end, if you are planning a visit to Athens please contact Sophia to plan your activities ahead of time. Such as not having to worry about getting tickets for various attractions like the acropolis or ordering food on the food tour. Also as a traveler not having to worry about paying for more things on vacation knowing that everything was prepaid was very relaxing.

Both the driver and certified tour guide were top notch! I couldn't recommend them more. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They adjusted the tour according to our preferences. I just wish I could have been in Greece longer to use them again another day. This was a great option after our cruise disembarked in Athens at 8:00AM. The driver picked my family of six up (plus our 13 pieces of luggage....not counting backpacks!) and took us to the Acropolis. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to other must sees before dropping us off in time for our check in to our hotel. The driver then came back bright and early the next morning to take our family to the airport. Wonderful service!

The entire Upper Travel team was fantastic! We utilized their services throughout our two weeks in Greece, from airport transfers, transfer from the port, and car service for the entire day. Will definitely use Upper Travel again! Booking was extremely easy. Several emails back and forth as I had many questions and Sofia was extremely timely and courteous with responses. Our Driver, George, showed up to our Port on time in a beautiful brand new Mercedes Limo Van. George was well dressed and was extremely professional. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer guide! He was fantastic and was eager to show us Athens and the surrounding historical sights. We had a bit of our own agenda as we were meeting up with other family members that arrived ahead of us. We used Upper Travel for two day trips from Athens, and then a transfer from a hotel ~2 hours from the airport. Everything was *excellent*. We emailed with Sofia to set things up (so fast to respond!). Our driver for the two days trips was Nikos - so professional, friendly, punctual, great English, flexible, and with many good recommendations and little spots to stop at which you'd never find in a guidebook. The car was beautiful and clean and he had every charger you could hope for. Our first trip was to Delphi where we also booked through Upper Travel a licensed guide, Electra, for the site. She was clear and strategic in her guiding - picking specific items in the museum to tell the story of Delphi and then connecting that story to the things we saw at the site (which was stunning). She had a helpful folder with maps and reconstructions too. Our second day trip we crossed the Corinth Canal to see Nafplio and Mycenae and then dropped off at a hotel nearby. Once again, Nikos was super - with a few little detours (since we had the time) through the wine country, a wild art gallery/architectural salvage warehouse, and then a bakery with the best bakalava we had all trip (we had a lot of baklava). Our licensed guide at Mycenae (I forget her name) was very knowledgeable and also good at pointing out the best little treasures in the small museum before taking us up to the fortress (which was *so cool*). She was very nice but also maybe had had one too many coffees that day. ;) And finally, a few days later, another driver, Sophie, picked us up VERY early (she was right on time) and took us back to the airport (they wisely counseled us to give some extra time for rush hour). Again, very friendly and also a spotless car. We had extra postcards that still needed stamps and to be mailed, and Sophia took them for us, got stamps and mailed them the next day. What service! Upper Travel was definitely the most expensive part of our trip, but we got so much out of it (information, enjoyment, comfort, piece of mind), so if your budget can take it, I highly recommend!!

Myrto, our guide for the Acropolis, was very knowledgeable and catered the tour to our interests. Everything fell into place and went so well that we have no recommendations other than travelers should heed their guide’s suggestions for start times to avoid the crowds. We did and were able to enjoy the sights without being crowded or feeling rushed.

One word - Awesome!! Our trip to Sounion and Poseidon temple was perfect. Sofia ensured that all our expectations were met. Communication was excellent. Minor requirements were catered to. Nikos was kind, courteous and patient as he navigated our vehicle and explained Greek history enroute. I’d recommend Upper Travel to any and everyone planning to tour Greece!

Upper travel is the BEST for luxury travel to Greece. Their thoughtfulness and catering to the luxury clientele is exceptional from the beginning to the end. We wish we can rate them 100 stars for their service. We are world travelers and have experienced countless agencies, but were totally amazed by Upper Travel . Sofia was in charge of our itineraries from the beginning to the end. Her responses to our inquiries were instantaneous despite the time difference . She was always very courteous and professional. Furthermore, once in our trip due to the weather condition, without her help in rearranging the itinerary our trip to Meteora would have not been such a memorable experience. Nikos our expert, dearest driver is a godsend. He was by far the kindest, most professional driver we have met. Throughout the 6 day journey with us, we always feel so protected and looking forward to the next day adventure with him. If you are fortunate to have Nikos, you will undoubtedly have an amazing time. All the tour guides are very professional and the best at what they do. We had a great time with Soliris on our journey to Sounion. He was not only knowledgeable but very entertaining as well Overall, words cannot describe our appreciation and gratitude toward Upper Travel. They have made our stay in Greece unforgettable. We did a two day tour of Athens and Sounion with Upper Travel. I must say, they were so professional from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was efficient, on time and very pleasant to work with. They were willing to adapt to our schedule and made us feel very comfortable with whatever we chose. They guided us to a good schedule and fulfilled everything we asked of them. I highly recommend them and should I ever come back to Athens or Greece I would 100% deal with them again.

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days with Upper Travels before and after our Silver Seas cruise and I must say our experience with Nikos and the guides was like being royalty. Nikos Myrto, Zefi and others offered more that information, giving us a taste of Greek life that we will long remember.

Our group of four did a private 2-day tour of Delphi and Meteora, and it was honestly one of the best parts of our 10-day trip to Greece. We rode in a brand-new Mercedes black limo van, which was super clean and really comfortable—perfect for the long drives.

Nikos, our driver, was fantastic. He made sure everything went smoothly and took care of every little detail, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He booked us reservations at some great local Greek restaurants at each stop, and the food was amazing! Plus, we had such a good time chatting with him—he really made the trip special for all of us.

The private guides we had in Delphi and Meteora were both outstanding. They knew so much about the history and were really passionate about it, which made the experience even better.

We couldn’t recommend Upper Travel enough. This was a trip we’ll never forget, and we’ll definitely be booking with them again on our next visit to Greece.

One of the best private tours!! We chose Private Guided Tours | Athens City & Cape Sounion - Full Day Guided Tour. It was a private tour in an immaculate and comfortable limousine. The tour was 8 hours long and it entails by in a flash. I highly recommend this wonderful company. Our group of five had a fantastic trip with Nikos as our guide! We took a day trip from Athens to Mycenae, Napflion and the Corinth Canal and Nikos made it really special by adding a couple of extra stops! The next day, Nikos delivered us to our cruise ship. Because he planned ahead, we had door-to-door service from the hotel to the port. Nikos was a real pleasure to be with, and Upper Travel did an outstanding job with our time in Athens. I highly recommend them!
