All you need to know for traveling during the 2nd lockdown in Greece
Dear travelers,
Because Covid-19 will most probably impact your travel to/from Athens, we would like to provide you with the necessary information you need to be aware of during the second three-week lockdown of Greece effective from November 7th.
Measures for the transportation of passengers to/from the Athens airport
According to the Greek General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the presentation of travel documents (ticket / boarding pass) is sufficient for the movement of passengers to / from the Athens International Airport. This applies both to those who return to their home and to those who will stay in a hotel (Greek and Foreign citizens). Furthermore, a handwritten statement (signed by the traveler) stating the reason for the movement or sending an SMS to 13033 as a condition of movement in the country is valid for all those who stay in the country permanently or temporarily.
